Blaaaahahhahhhahahahahhhh …
I’m on my second cup of green tea with honey this evening. Being on the road is a weird thing, especially when you can’t sleep. I feel less productive because I’m in a hotel room with two other people and don’t want to keep them awake. It severely limits my options. I can’t really write songs (except for the ones in my head), I’ve already seen all the NFL highlights for this week, and I can’t read with the lights off. I tried going down to the lobby, but the guy who was working down there made me uncomfortable … like he was silently repremanding me for being awake (It’s 3:30 Boise time). (On a side note, my computer clock still says the east coast time, because that’s where my heart really is every day).
Boise is such a great town. I always dread coming here on the way through the mountains, but once we get here, we always have the best time. Same Changs for dinner, typically some Tully’s Coffee for desert, buy some clothes, stay at the same Hyatt Place. And the kids are so great here. I thought there were only going to be five people at the show tonight, but it was surprisingly excellent.
Where did I put my tea? Oh here it is. Nevermind.
Seahorse Out.
